You guys are right...... the Italians and the French sometimes have difficult relations, but in Peugeot cars - designed and built in Italy, everything is perfect! These ones are from a car show at Lac de Madine (France) last weekend, my friend Reiner Plass took the photos for me.

6801854, Carroserie No. 14948, Cabriolet Injection AM 1968, Blanc Arosa 1132, black leather, no "Injection" sign on rear and the engine is carbureted, dans son jus++, location: FRANCE



And although the serial number is not new to our list, this car, No. 6801793, has at last been captured on film for the Club, and it is a beautiful example, I'm sure you'll agree (even if the colour is not original):

From the 404 Registry website today (sorry, no photo was sumbitted):

4670618, Cabriolet Carburator, 09 April 1968, bought by current owner on 13 September 2006, Noir 1000 with red leather, good condition. Hard top, Jaeger sports instrument panel; the car was a Coupé when it came from the factory. but in the late 1990s the roof was removed and it was changed into a convertible with original parts from another Peugeot 404 convertible. Engine (4cyl injection) and a 5 gear gearbox from the later 504 modells were used in exchange for the original parts, location: FRANKFURT AM MAIN GERMANY

4599165 has probably been scrapped, because its engine now lives inside the Cabriolet number 4590936, and that car is now in France instead of the Netherlands.
