Here is a 404 Cabriolet that I found the serial number of today:
4594289, Cabriolet Injection, 21 septembre 1964, Blanc Saratoga 1031, black vinyl seating, Car will be auctioned (Interencheres.com) March 2016, estimated at 8-10K €, quite rusty, carbureted engine, VANNES FRANCE
4599071, Coupé Injection 1966 , Bleu Foncé 1057, Crème seats, Being restored May 2016, originally it was the car of the boss of a Peugeot concessionnaire in Orléans, PYRENEES ATLANTIQUES FRANCE
Here is a photo of 4590385. It has a 1967-68 type front end - a conversion often done following a collision back in the day. Whether the car will have the original type of front end fitted at the restoration is unknown to me.
