638033, Carrosserie 34, Monoposte, Diesel, 1962 (modified in 1965), Blue, experimental prototype 404 Diesel record, identified on manufacturer's plate as "404D 638033", Bodyshell No. 34 - meaning this car was built up i 1965 from a carbureted 1962 Cabriolet, Nardi floor shifter, in the collection of l'Aventure Peugeot, SOCHAUX FRANCE

Perusing the oldest bulletins of Le Club 404, two more "known" 404 Cabriolets were discovered. The information is from 1982/83, so it's a bit stale, and there is no assurance that the cars still exist. I expect the stolen one was broken up for parts shortly after.
