Help! Peugeot 306 1996

I dont know if this is the right sub to ask so I aplogize in advance if I'm wrong.

I have a peugeot 306 1996,

There was a redesign of the body after 1997, so my question is if the new body style is backwards compatible with my 1996, ( for example headlights, hood, doors, trunk, bumpers etc)

And i really dont want to just buy a newer peugeot, its a passion project hope you understand.

1997 restyling involved only some parts of the bodywork, in a fairly limited way; for this reason, theoretically, I believe that there should be no particular difficulty in updating a previous model with the details of the new version. However, even if I am not a professional coachbuilder, I venture that the operation is feasible perhaps only by changing ALL the parts involved in the restyling and not just some of them.

Se non ricordo male la trasformazione si può fare senza particolari problemi. Servono cofano,parafanghi,traversa anteriore,paraurti,griglia e fari anteriori. L'unico dubbio sono i connettori dei fari e l'attacco del radiatore. La cosa migliore sarebbe trovare una 306 phase2 per poter controllare a vista le differenze

se qualcuno fa il piacere di tradurre,non ho usato il traduttore altrimenti non so cosa veniva fuori...
