This car is not a 404C model, but rather a 404 sedan, however it will be of special interest to Italian 404 fans. If anyone has a photo fo the whole car, please let me know!
Here is the manufacturer's plate for the Peugeot 404 of Enzo Ferrari. Photo copyright: Franco Nugnes on Twitter. This car is Gris Métallisé 1025, and has beige leather, with a Nardi floor shift and Lancia Flaminia front fog lights. I don't have a photo of the whole car, sadly. It remains in Italy.

You are not wrong - Peugeot pulled out of North America in the spring of 1991. I drove a 405 from 1994-2009 and then scrapped it at close to 400.000 km....parts were not that hard to get until about 2005, Peugeot Motors of America still supplied them until that time. Now it is difficult, but for my 404C, I pick up parts when in Europe and I have good connections elsewhere too.
Now back to the new findings...
Thanks to my friend in Germany, Peter Teuffel, three more 404C cars were identified today. The first one is likely for parts only; though it could possibly be restored by an extremely ambitious person:
