This car has lost his precious italian first registration plate. The french license plate beginning with the letter "W" ( temporary registration) demonstrates it almost surely. What a pity

Peter Teuffel notified me that Joern Haarmann in Germany has an engine block for sale from a 404C that has likely been scrapped. We don't at this point know whether it was a Coupé or Cabriolet :

4598512, C Injection, engine is for sale right now, HEILIGELAND GERMANY

Total: 1971 cars!

That's very good
However this may not be the original plate since this type of plates has been introduced starting from 1985. Probably, one of the earlier owners must have changed his place of residence. Still, the photo is very interesting, thank you!

I don't know whether that car was sold in Italy when new. But, it is possible!

4499589, Cabriolet Carburateur, 27 octobre 1966, Blanc Arosa 1132, Cuir Noir, bought by its present owner in 1977 from the owner of the Champagne house Pommery. Not used since 1990, but the owner has started restoring the car in 2014 and hopes to have it finished by the end of 2015, MORDELLES FRANCE
